The basic and structural schemes of automatic determination of duration of visible combustion of fuel in the cylinder have been developed. The errors, which arise at the recording of heat-evolution rate, have been determined in kind and in degree. The recommendations for the introduction of created prototype of recorder of heat-evolution rate have been developed.
