The investigation is concerned with the inverse problems for differential operators. The aim to be attained is to study direct and inverse problems of the theory of scattering for Shturm - Loiwill equation with a spectral parameter in a boundary condition. The spectrum, resolvent and formula of expansion by proper functions of a boundary-value problem for Shturm - Loiwill equation with a spectral parameter in a boundary condition have been studied. Scattering data has been studied and the theorem of uniqueness of solving the inverse problem of scattering has been proved.
