THE ZOOPLANKTON OF THE EPIPELAGIAL OF THE FAR EAST SEAS: THE COMPOSITION OF THE COMMUNITIES, THE INTERANNUAL DYNAMICS, THE IMPORTANCE IN THE NEKTON NUTRITION

A a result of the complex investigations of the epipelagial of the Okhotsky and Bering Seas, the seasonal quantitative characteristics have been obtained for the dominating groups and species of the plankton communities. The developed methods of processing of the hydrobiological materials by the plankton and nutrition of the nekton allow to operatively use the obtained information during the expedition investigations. The obtained results of the investigations are being when studying the ecology of fishes and calamaries, and designing the production of the trophic links of the ecosystems and the individual species of the nekton of the Okhotsky and Bering Seas and when studying the structures of the nekton communities.Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
