The quantitative changes in the fish population structure and dynamics of the biological indices for fishs of the submontane Mingechaur reservoir from filling moment up to the present have been analysed firstly. The fourth period characterized with the eutrophication increase, anthropogenic action intensification and ecological system disbalancing has been dinstinquished in the forming ecological system of the reservoir. The regularities in the redistribution of the fish densities during reservoir formatiom have been determined. It has been discovered that the macroscale distribution character of the fishes in the Mingechaur reservoir corresponds to the "borderland" type.
