The object of investigation: diesel for large-load automatic dump-trucks DM-21 (CN 21/21), with power of 800 kW (1300 hp). The purpose of the work: the improvement of reliability of the bearing assemblies of diesels, type CN 21/21 by searching the methods of elimination of fretting-corrosion damage in them. Developed have been the construction of the crank-shaft bearing, the methods of performance of the design investigations, the graphoanalytical methods of determination of the fretting formation lower boundary. The polymer, decreasing the fretting-wear by 8 times has been offered and tested, the efficiency of oil supply for the fretting decrease has been determined, the more perfect construction of the bearing assembly has been offered.
