Purpose of the work: investigation of the distortions of the AM radio signal envelope and development of recommendations on the standardization of the non-linear and transient distortions. The results of the work include the development of a mathematical model of distribution of the AM radio signal distortion of the envelope, calculation of the non-linear and frequency distortion coefficients and calculation of the values of the radio frequency distortions for the synchronous networks.
