The bird louses (mallophaga) of byelorussia

The objects of investigation: the ectoparasites of birds. The purpose of the work: the revealation of the species composition of the bird louses, parasitizing on the birds of Byelorussia, studying the peculiarities of the season changes in the number of mass species, the peculiarities of ecology of the most spread species of bird louses, the ways of circulation in nature and the possibilities of the exchange by the bird louses as the high-specialized ectoparasites. For the first time, in the science practice, the fauna of the bird louses in the Byelorus republic has been studied. The given data about 97 species of the bird louses of the most spread birds ahev allowed to compile a List of birds louses. The structure of fauna of the synanthropic birds louses has been revealed, the ways of formation of the parasitocomplexes of the birds louses have been shown.
