Regularities of functioning of zooplankton communities within ecological systems of piscicultural ponds

The researchers have pioneered in systematically studying the principlesof functioning of zooplankton communities in carp ponds in the broad range of intensification means, revealed the factors governing the formation of the structural and functional organization of zooplankton, discovered the reactions of thecommunity and populations of the mass species thereof to the press of fishes and discovered the optimal conditions allowing high fish productivity. In addition, the investigators have revealed the regularities of functioning of zooplankton and the obtained data serves as a basis for determining the role thereof in the provision of natural fish productivity of carp ponds.
