The new laser non-linear IR-spectrograph of the high time resolution has been created. The flow in the diaphragm-free shock pipe of the variable cross-section has been studied. The IR spectra of the shock-heated methane absorption have been obtained and calculated firstly in experiment. A possibility to determine the temperature and concentration of the methane by a developed method in the conditions of the fast-proceeding gasodynamic processes has been shown. The created diagnostic method can be used for determination of the gas concentration and temperature both in the stationary conditions and in the conditions of fast-proceeding processes at gasodynamic or kinetic investigations.
