The aim is to develop the procedure for growing silver azide crystals of the given habitus, to determine the structure of the solid phase which is formed on the surface of the silver azide crystals at their heating, photoradiation and long storage, to develop the recommendations on the selection of the optimal conditions for growing and storage of the silver azide crystals for a purpose of increasing their chemical stability. All the basic crystallographical simple forms and their combinated types have been identified firstly in the cutting of the silver azide crystals.
