Enhancement of safety of mechanization equipment operators by minimization of dangerous situations and improvement of design of anti-winding devices of cardan shafts

Subject of investigation: parameters governing safety of the operators of potato combines KKU-2A during normal operation in Bryansk region. Purpose of the work: enhancement of the safety of the mechanization equipment operators by minimization of dangerous situations and improvement of the design of anti-winding devices of cardan shafts on the basis of the labour protection technical principles which consist in the protection by time and use of interlocks. The results of the work provide for models and algorithms for safety of the mechanization equipment operators, the statistics of processes governing the safety, the engineer and technical safety facilities and the methods for their calculation. The developed models and algorithms can be used when projecting safety systems for the mobile equipment operators in the zone of cardan shafts and the developed design models of the protective devices given three author's certificates effectively preclude traumas.
