Subject of investigation: computing process of parallel image processing on multi-processor computing systems. Purpose of the work: development of a control mechanism of the image processing on multi-processor computing systems accounting for the peculiarities of the operations being executed and preparation of proposals on the program development methods. A model is proposed for the image processing which provides for the hierarchical parallelism breaking of the calculations. Program technology is proposed which permits processing on different-configuration systems. Methods are proposed for developing image processing programs.
