The aim is to determine the community and herpetofauna originality in the mountain systems of the Caucasus and Central Asia alpides. The new view to the philogeny of the Caucasus' thyro-head adders and mountain ring-tail agamas permitted to interpretate in a new way the biogeography of the mountain concepts in the investigated retion. The materials can income into the courses of the herpetology and biogeography. The obtained data have been used at drawing up European Album of the amphibian and reptile areas and also in the division into districts of the Sochi State Natural National Park and income into the second edition of the Russia's Red Book.
