The aim is to give the morphological characteristic of the chemosensory formations in the nasal cavity, their osteal framework and arterial blood supply among cattle in the ontogenesis. The morphofunctional substantiation of the ethmoid bone has been given, the age changes of the mucous membrane on the nasal cavity, olfactory epithelium and Jacobson's organ have been traced. The intratrunk of the nose nerve has been determined. The conceptions about passage-branching of the nerves and arteries and about intratrunk construction of the nose nerves have been made accurate and widened. The presence of the vascular networks and their characteristics are necessary for understanding functions of the mucous membrane as an unique biosystem. It is re...
