The purpose of the work is to determine the methods of improvement of nuclear fuel use and power generation efficiency at existing nuclear power plants with thermal reactors and at designed promising nuclear power plants. The author has used the power methods of power analysis to develop the procedures for computing the characteristics of efficient use of nuclear fuel and power efficiency of nuclear power plants operation using the system approach with due regard for the internal links and outer factors which determine the functioning of nuclear power plants.
