THE GEOGRAPHIC PECULIARITIES OF THE ECOLOGY AND PROTECTION OF BIRDS IN THE RESERVES OF THE FAR EAST, CENTRAL RUSSIA AND CAUCASUS

The purpose of the work: the investigation of the comparative ecology of the birds on the level of the populations of the different ranges and the development of the differentiated approach to the birds protection on this base. The analysis of the comparative ecology of the more than 100 species of birds has been performed. It has been established, that the intraspecies (population) specialization and ecological plasticity of the birds is the two sides of the species adaptation to the conditions of the existence. On the base of the detailed study of the ecology, the differential approach to the birds protection has been developed. The new methods of the in-life study of the baby birds nutrition of the insect-eating birds have been created. The new species of birds for the world fauna has been described. The differentiated approach to the birds protection and introduction of the number of its positions in life has been developed at the organisation of the Khankaisky reserve and two reserves on the North Caucasus, and at the propaganda of the nature protection aideas.Available from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of RussiaSIGLERURussian Federatio
