Using the round-mouth and the fishes, the morphofunctional properties of the electrosensor systems of the ampulled electroreceptors and the mechanisms of reception of the magnetic field effects by the animals. Two types of the electrosensor systems i.e., an- and catelectrosensor systems, which have the different properties of the electroreceptor cells, the innervation and central representation, have been revealed. Both systems are adapted to the reception of the infralow-frequency electric fields. The ability of the electrosensitive fishes to react to the arising and approaching the earthquakes, cyclones, and to perceive the electric fields of the biological origin has been shown.
