As a result of the multi-year (1955 to 1995) collections in the high-boreal (Barents, White, Bering and Okhotsky) Seas, the structure and functioning of the macrophytobenthos, i.e., marine algae and grasses have been established. The seasonal and interannual variation of the flora and vegetation is discussed, it is indicated to the connection of the biorhythmy with the climatic cycles in Arctic. The information by the macrophytes productivity, the variation of the production characteristics have been given; the primary production of the leading species of the marine plants and the production of macrophytobenthos in te White and Okhotsky Seas have been designed.
