The method of receiving the track membranes from the polyvinylidenfluoride and copolymers of vinylidenfluoride, including the radiation by heavy ions and a selective chemical etching of latent tracks of heavy ions by the alkali solutions of the kalium permanganate. The products of radiolysis, taking place under the action of the accelerated heavy ions, have been identified, its mechanism has been offered. The physico-chemical parameters of the selective etching of the latent tracks have been studied. Offered has been the optimum composition for the chemical etching of the tracks from the point of view of selectivity and speed.
