SYSTEMATICS AND DIAGNOSTICS OF TANYPODINS (DIPTERA, CHIRONOMIDAE; TANYPODINAE) FROM RESERVOIRS OF RUSSIA

The investigation objects are the larvae, chrysalice and imago (females, males) of the chironomids of the tanypodin subfamily. The aim is to perform the morphological and caryotypical study of the tanyposins from a number of the Russia's reservoirs. The first description and re-description of 14 species of the tanypodins from 6 genuses have been given. The larvae of 6 species, females of 2 species, metamorphosis of the North genus have been described firstly. The caryotypes of 6 species have been given firstle, the generalized characteristic of the structural-functional organization in the chromosomes of tanyposins has been given, and the evolution ways of their caryotype have been designated.
