Hypophysial-thyreoid-adrenal interrelations of the european north inhabitants (aspects of the ecological endocrinology)

Examined have been 3600 inhabitants of the North, men and women at the age of 18 to 75 years old (aboriginals, local coming people). The work is aimed at revealing the peculiarities of the hypophysial-thyreoid-adrenal interrelations of the above-mentioned people. To determine the hormones level in the blood, the method of the radio-immunological in-vitro analysis has been used, installation Gamma-12; the statistic processing has been performed using the applied program pack on the CM-1800 computer and Electronics MC-0585 computer. A complex investigation of the hypophysis - pancreatic gland and hypophysis - adrenals systems state has been performed. Presence of the regional versions, the directness of the adaptive changes of the hormonal regulation has been shown with the year season, female or male, and the age taken into account. The data can be used for the development of the adaptability criteria and region versions of the hormonal indicators norm with the age, male or female, and the time period of living in the North and the season of the year shall be taken into consideration. It is planned to develop the methodical recommendations on application of the investigation results in diagnostics of the pancreatic gland and adrenal cortex deseases of the North inhabitants.
