Introduction of the north-american wood plants in the middle zone of the ussr european part

The foliage wood plants of the North America have been examined. The work is aimed at estimating the North-American foliage wood plants introduction perspective of the Russian Academy of Sciences Major Botany Garden collection. The methods of investigation: phenological observations; determination of the plants water regimen according to methods of A.B. Ryasanova; studying the dynamics of the buds opening on the cut shoots in winter; determination of the pollen (painting) survivability and seeds (cutting up, roentgenography); used have been the MBC-9 microscope, balance VLKT-500 g-M, roentgenoapparatus RECI-1. For the first time the thorough analysis of the collection composition has been performed, the connection between the rest period duration and some phases of the plants seasonal development has been revealed. Determined have been the regions of the natural growing of plants the most suitable for the collection of the original material. The recommendations on the expediency of the perspective palnts application have been given. For the first time, recommended have been the plants of 99 species and varieties for application in planting for greenery.
