One- and two-cation halogenides are investigated in the paper aiming at the description and explanation of processes, responsible for quick radiating transitions in ionic crystals. As a result the processing method of thermoluminiscence curve lines has been improved; the model of quick radiating transitions has been refined. The spectral-kinetic and power characteristics of crystals, representing the interest to scintillation engineering have been determined. The model of physical processes, which is used in the synthesis of fast scintillators has been developed. The paper results may find their field of application in radiation physics, scintillation engineeringAvailable from VNTIC / VNTIC - Scientific & Technical Information Centre of Russ...
