Optical properties of non-equilibrium plasma, the radiation process, the kinetics of radiation-chemical processes in gases and plasma are investigated in the paper aiming at the automated system development for the calculation of radiation characteristics of non-equilibrium plasma, the numerical modelling of glows over surfaces of space vehicles during orbital flidhts and the early stage of powerful high-altitude explosions. As a result processes, responsible for the glow oveo space vehicles of various types have been investigated. Particles-radiators have been determined.
