Subject of inquiry: interaction between two-pulse laser radiation and condenced media. The aim of the work is to study effects of increase of analytical parameters of emission spectra of laser plasma when changing single-pulse radiation mode to two-pulse one. Methods of investigation: analytical calculations and physical experiment. A new method of two-pulse laser plasma generation for remote diagnosis has been offered and studied experimentally. A physical mechanism for increase of luminous emittance and contrast of a target spectral lines in atmosphere has been investigated.
