The paper was aimed at the development of the theory of elastic deformation of strongly anisotropic constructions and variation theory of compound equations. As a result a number of non-standard models in the mechanics of solid bodies under deformation were substantiated. The qualitative behaviour of equations and inequalities of compound type was investigated.
