The work is concerned with tokamak plasma. The purpose of the paper is to perform a technical development and experimental testing of methods for determining of a plasma filament boundary and of equlibrium profile of the plasma current in the tokamak. New methods to determine boundaries of a plasma filament in the tokamak which are based on models of toroidal harmonics of fixed and movable current filaments have been developed. The new results about the boundary contour, integral and contour parameters of the plasma in the "Tuman-3" tokamak have been achieved in the research.
