The aim of the work is to deelop theoretical and experimental researches of SAW induced by laser impulse excitation in isotropic solids and crystals and search for possible application. There has been established the possibility to describe SAW excitation by laser using wave equation and calculated the presages propagating before Rayleigh impulses front. An effect of SAW phonon focusing has been detected experimentally. Microparticles detachment from a solid surface has been investigated at SAW passage.
