Subject of inquiry are magnetohydrodynamic oscillations of heterogeneous plasma of magnetic traps, cylindrical magnetoactive plasma waveguides. The aim of the work is to analyze some plasma and magnetic traps configuration characteristics affecting the propagation and excitation of fast magnetoacoustic and Alfven waves; to study properties of azimuthal surface waves.
