The purpose of the work: the development of the effective diagram for the determination of the electronic spectre of surfaces, the analysis of interconnection between the peculiarities of the electronic spectre and ustability of the surface relative to the reconstruction. The algorithm for finding the low-lying own values of the matrix of large dimension has been offered. Studied have been the electronic spectres of surfaces (001)-1x1, (001)-2x1, (III)-1x1 of the covalent metals and the degree of coating.
