Add to ORKGMetric and uniform spaces of probabilistic measures are investigated in the paper aiming at the indication of P( rho ) metrics, generating the topology of P(X) space, for an arbitrary metric space (X, rho ). The investigation of uniform spaces, generated by the family of P( rho alpha ) pseudometrics is also the aim of the paper. As a result the metrics, generating P(X) topology has been indicated for the X metric space. The Smirnov's extension on the metric proximity of P(X) space has been investigated. The results given have been generalized on the category of uniform spaces. The investigation has the theoretical character.
