The improvement of the thory and methodology of the reactor calculation for the increase of the quality and reliability of the forecasting of their characteristics is the aim of the paper. As a result the mathematical theory of the new class of calculation methods for the theory of neutron transfer has been created. High effective algorithm for the numerical solution of boundary-value problems for the equation of neutron transfer have been developed and substantiated. The forecasted effectiveness of the introduction is comparable to the effectiveness of multigrouping methods of homogenization, large nets, etc. The paper results may find their field of application in the calculation, design and operation of nuclear reactorsAvailable from VNT...
