SUBSTANTIATION OF PARAMETERS OF SPIRAL SCREEN SEPARATOR IN CLEANING SYSTEM OF GRAIN COMBINE

The laws defining the cleaning process of the proposed cleaning system of the grain combine have been revealed; it includes a spiral screen separator (SSS). The laws of motion of a heap in the separator, the probability of passing particles through the screen, as well as the conditions resulting in a uniform spreading of the heap on the screen have been found out, which permitted to substantiate the parameters of the SSS. Grain separation models have been determined; the parameters of the SSS have been substantiated; the cleaning system structure has been developed.
