The laminated orthotropic shells and plates are investigated. The aim of the paper is to develop the methods for solving the free quasistatic thermoelasticity problem of the laminated orthotropic structures of type sloping shells and plates based on the applying specified models of thermal and stressed-strained state and the finite element method. The new hypotheses of temperature distribution have been grounded and introduced according to the package thickness; the new model for deformating structures taking into consideration thermal sensitivity of material for layers has been developed; the quasistatic thermoelasticity problem has been solved for the considered class of structures.
