Ecological and geographical aspects of environmental protection when rendering radioactive waste harmless and on radioactive contamination

The investigation is concerned with background and technogenous ecological systems and their components, burial places of radioactive waste, radionuclides in nature. The aim to be attained is to develop the strategy of nature use when rendering radioactive waste harmless and on radioactive contamination of the background and low technogenous levels: to substantiate the concept of ecological and geographical optimization, create the data base. The concept of optimization of the nature use when rendering radioactive waste harmless and burying it on a basis of keeping of the natural biopotential of the ecological systems has been first formulated and substantiated. The data bank, standard base of the ecological-geographical control of the nature use has been created. The data bank as the basis of the controlling complex which allows the user to carry out the examination of the burial places of radioactive waste and atomic plants, reveal radiation load on the ecological systems and evaluate the environmental quality, provide prediction of the systems development, control the load, i.e to implement the natural protechtion technology has been created. The data bank techniques of radiation control, cadastre-reference maps have been introduced in the production systems of the environmental radiation control. The proposed concept and nature protection technology create the base for effective ecological and geographical control of nature use when rendering burial places of radioactive waste harmless and on radioactive contamination.
