The aim of the project was to generate a basis for the future national projects by analysis of EU sponsored projects. The analyzed EU sponsored transport management systems in conurbations should prove in pilot applications the technical feasibility of traffic telematics and traffic operations control. The efficiency of the in field trials tested telematic applications integrated in a transport management system was analyzed. The efficiency of the measures was evaluated concerning traffic security, energy consumption, environment and economy. The technical feasibility of linking the data of urban public transport, private traffic and parking management by means of a transport management computer with the possiblity of controlling activities...
