The SCHOOLSAT project envisages that satellite ground operations are carried out by students at their own schools. A feasibility study was made in order to analyse the realization conditions and as a preparation for this project. It showed that the probability for succes is quite high. The reaction of all parties, that will have to be involved in a SCHOOLSAT project was extremely positive. The SCHOOLSAT goals, demonstration of satellite ground operations (also providing a test and possible increase in efficiency), public relations for space business, and the promotion of future manpower in schools, will probably be realized successfully.
