Expertensystem zur Unterstuetzung der sicherheitstechnischen Analyse verfahrenstechnischer Anlagen Abschlussbericht

1. Status of development: several tools concerning safety analysis have been developed recently. Some of these tools are supporting the documentation, others are knowledge based systems. 2. Intension: this project was arranged to design an extensible knowledge based system supporting safety analysis in order to optimize the quality and to minimize the expense. 3. Method: the system is based on the physical structure of chemical process plants and on the procedure of safety analysts. Furthermore, it has been respected the integration of available plant and process data. 4. Result: important elements of a powerful system supporting safety and risk analysis have been developed. The system (version 1.0) has been tested on the basis of several semi-batch plants. 5. Conclusion/application of the system: available plant data can be integrated in the safety analysis directly. Based on version 1.0 the system can already be used for safety analysis in industry.
