The report presents the new modular transparent thermal insulation system of Messrs. Roehm, which consists of low-cost, self-shading transparent thermal insulation modules based on a thermally insulating glass with a high g value and low k value.Mit Hilfe transparenter Waermedaemmungen (TWD) laesst sich die solare Einstrahlung sehr effektiv nutzen. Die zur Heizung eingesetzte Primaerenergie wird minimiert und dadurch die Schadstoff- und Kohlendioxidemission verringert. Die erforderliche Abschattung im Sommer zur Vermeidung einer Ueberhitzung wird durch die Integration neuartiger Plexiglas Prismenplatten der Firma Roehm erreicht.
