A review is given on the kind and amount of plastic wastes and on the development of recycling technologies with special regard to the application of reclaimed plastics in agriculture and gardening. Recycled thermoplastic mixproducts can be used as sheetings, posts, pales and plates. The material testing results on PVC-recycling plates prove the high quality of these products and the applicability for a number of agricultural purposes, especially in the animal husbandry.
