A modified LYOCELL spinning process has been developed for production of microphase-modified cellulose fibers with improved properties. The spinning of cellulose fibers was performed with copolymers in aminoxyhydrates and in the presence of aprotic, amphiprotic and protic co-agents like polyamide 6, PA12, copolyamide, PET, PLA, copolyesters, CMC, celluloseacetate, cationic cellulose derivatives, starch, and proteins like collagen. The obtained fibers exhibited multi-phase morphologies: The incorporated copolymers did not contribute to the fiber strength, however, in this way, dye sorption, hydrophilicity, and hydrolytic resistance of the fibers could be changed by the copolymers.Available from TIB Hannover: F03B1463 / FIZ - Fachinformations...
