Spin-dyeing of fibers is carried out via coextrusion of the polymer and the color-masterbatch. This method surpasses the common dyeing methods, as no solvents are used and no purification of rinsing water is necessary. Furthermore, the whole dyes rsp. pigments are incorporated into the fibers, and the fibers exhibit high lightfastness.
