Modular wedge localization and the d=1+1 formfactor program

In this paper I continue the study of the new nonperturbative framework of modular localization and its constructive use in the d=1+1 Karowski-Weisz-Smirnov formfactor program. Particular attention is focussed on the connection of the (Zamolodchikov-Faddeev) algebraic structure and its relation to the Riemann-Hilbert problem for wedge localized multiparticle wave functions in the incoming Fock space and the closely related formfactors. The analogon in nonfactorizing and higher dimensional QFT's are wedge-localized fields which, if acting on the vacuum, generate one particle vectors without vacuum polarization particle-antiparticle components. They belong to a 'thermal Hilbert' space but furnish a useful basis for the construction of the local fields and the local algebras in the vacuum representation; the corresponding local field is not subject to the 'thermal bondage' i.e. can be translated outside the wedge region in which it has been constructed. In this fresh use of old principles of local quantum physics, we discover several new concepts.
