The research project aims apart from a further optimization and cheapening of heat pump components at achieving a reduction in prices in the heat pump periphery. Cost reductions can be realized in the following fields: a) individual components b) total concepts for gas-driven absorption-type heat pumps. Faults and efficiency losses when connected to the heating system can be considerably reduced when the factors which are decisive for the operation are to the largest possible degree factory-set.
