To improve the knowledge of PM_1_0 and PM_2_._5 fractions of emitted particles, size selective measurements of following stationary sources have been carried out by using an Andersen Mark III in-stack cascade impactor: Charcoal fired power plant, heavy oil fired industrial plant, facilities of rock processing, sand processing, processing of ceramical raw materials, dryers for sand and wood chips, brick baking as well as a facility for urea production. Main influences of the size distribution of emitted particulate matter are the processes themselves, manner of process, installed dust collector systems as well as the emitted particulate matter concentration.
