Add to ORKGThe competition, carried out by the Zentralstelle fuer Solartechnik, aimed at a popularization of principles, and application of photovoltaic devices. At the same time new ideas were gathered for the development and improvement of such devices. Prototypes, constructed with financial and instrumental support in the frame of the present project, were subjected to an intensive performance testing. To the outstanding exponates belong i.a. a public accumulator charge station, a water aerator and a bicycle lighting system.
