Sputtering and PECVD techniques were employed for producing films with thermoelectric characteristics similar to those of massive materials. The focus of research and development at Fraunhofer PM was on the preparation and investigation of sputtered PbTe and SiGe deposited by PECVD.Ziel des Projektes war es mit Sputter- bzw. PECVD-Verfahren Schichten herstellen zu koennen, deren thermoelektrische Werte konkurrenzfaehig sind mit denen der entsprechenden Massivmaterialien.
