For the integration of the photovoltaic systems into facades of buildings the constructional options of the facade have to be combined with the technical requirements of the photovoltaic technology. In the connection with the research project the following procedures have been executed: 1. Construction of a prototype facade for structural tests at ISET (Institute of Solar Energy Technology in Kassel) 2. Development and realization of mechanical thermal tests of photovoltaic modules for the application in the facade. 3.
