When biogas production, methane-content and Redox are measured directly at the fermenter as well as time and amount of substrate input and if all these data are documented online, trends can be visualized. In a dynamic management system the fermentation process is being confronted with variations of substrate load. The dynamic responses of the biological process can be recognized immediately and compared with the expected results. The evaluation permits a statement about the condition of the process. In the project the tasks, questions and the interpretation of the answers which can be placed were compiled and examined in the laboratory and three biogas plants working.
