Within the joint project of the TU Berlin, Co. Hofer und Co. BioteCon a new Microwave-High-Pressure-Reactor for transformation of organic wastes into useable products was developed and tested. BioteCon's part of the project was to determine suitable educts for the treatment, the analytical monitoring of the experiments and to develop a concept to obtain useable products. For these products a market analysis was carried out. Suitable educts are all kind of organic wastes with a high content of water. For the investigations sewage sludge, spent hops and De-Inking (sludge of the waste paper industries) was used. The products are inert gases (Nitrogen, Carbondioxide), a water phase with a high organic content and an associated oil/solid phase. ...
